Holiday Party Look

Holiday Party Look

Organic by John Patrick cropped sweater / MuuBaa short pleated skirt / H M black hosiery/ Jessica Simpson suede ankle boots / KENNETH JAY LANE gold plated necklace / Tom ford lipstick / Too Faced Cosmetics matte palette eyeshadow

Hello Everyone!

Today I've been playing around with a few holiday party outfit ideas and this is my favorite out of the ones I came up with. I have really been into the leather skirt look lately. A great why to tone it down a bit is to pair it with a lovely knit sweater in a cream ish color. I think the two are a great look together. Also add a statement necklace, tights and black booties and you got yourself an amazing holiday look. I love this royal blue necklace because it adds a pop of color to this overall neutral look. I'd love to wear this with a smokey eye and a nude lip. I'm dying to try some Tom Ford products and I hear that their lipsticks are great!

What are you planning to wear this holiday season?
Lots of love,

Red on Red

red on red

Hello everyone!

Red is one of my all time favorite colors, I even had a red prom dress in high school. I think it is such a statement color and it instantly gives you a boost of confidence. Holiday time is one of my all time favorite times to rock red from my New Years dress to a red lip at Christmas dinner. It is such a festive color that is sure to get noticed. I am definitely going to pick up some red pieces before the holiday time.

What is your favorite color to wear during the holiday time?

Lots of Love,

Christmas Wishlist

Christmas Wishlist

Gold dress / Short sequin skirt, $41 / TOMS canvas shoes / Zara seashell necklace / Bow earrings, $8.16 / Yves Saint Laurent lips makeup / Nars cosmetic / Bobbi Brown Cosmetics eyeshadow / Pink perfume

Happy December everyone!

Today, I decided to start of this lovely holiday season with a wish list. Some of these are specifics while others are just overall themes/ things I'd love. Clearly I am not going to get all of these this holiday season but I think it's good to know what you want. Our Moment by One Direction Perfume: I am a One Direction fan not gonna lie but this always smells amazing. Every time I go into Ulta or Sephora, I can't help myself but smell it. It is a a very fresh sweet smelling perfume. YSL Beaute Rouge Volupte Shine: I actually don't own a YSL lipstick yet! It's sad, I know. The packaging alone is worth the $34 price tag. It is so luxurious and beautiful. TOMS: I have always wanted a pair but I just never got around to buying a pair. I think it is for a lovely cause and they seem really comfortable. NARS Eyeshadow Palette in Ride up to the Moon: I don't own any NARS products besides laguna and orgasm. I really want to expand my NARS collection so I thought a palette is a great way to do so! Bobby Brown Rich Chocolate Eye Palette: Bobbi Brown is another brand that I hear raves about but I don't actually own anything from! This palette looks beautiful and great for everyday. Yankee Candles: These are probably my all time favorite candles and they come in some amazing winter smells. I think these make great gifts from your parents to your teachers to friends. Jewelry: Every girl loves a little bling. I adore chunky necklaces and cute studded earrings. Sequined/Glittery Clothing: I don't think there is a better time than the holidays to buy or gift or receive glittery or sequined clothing. A glittery dress would be perfect for New Years Eve and a sequined skirt would be perfect for Christmas!

I love you guys enjoyed!

Lots of Love,

H&M Haul

Hi Guys!
H&M is having a huge mid season sale at this moment I couldn't help myself but order a few things! I managed to get 7 pieces including a biker jacket, two cardigans, a sweater, a pair of pants, a pair of legging and glasses for under $90! I don't know about you but I think this is pretty freakin' good! I'm really excited to share these pieces with you and if I can still find them on the H&M website, I will link them below!

corduroy pants and printed leggings

close up of leggings pattern

First two things I got were bottoms. I got one pair of black corduroy pants for $15 dollars. They were originally priced at $24.95 ( you can find them HERE). They come in six colors/patterns. My favorite thing about them is that they are long enough! I am a tall girl at 5'10 and it is really hard to find pant long enough and these surprisingly are! I had plans of wearing them rolled up but I actually don't need to. The other bottoms I got are a pair of patterned leggings. They are gray with a velvet pattern on them and they were only $10! They were originally priced at $17.95 ( you can find them HERE). They fit great and are a thicker material that is going to be great for the winter time.

knitted sweater and glasses

The next two things I got were a knitted sweater and a pair of glasses. The sweater is natural white color and it was $12.45. It was originally priced at $24.95( you can find it HERE). It comes in five different colors. I picked the natural white because I  think it would look really great with the patterned leggings I got. I also got a pair of glasses. They have blank lens in them and were $3. They were originally priced at $7.95 (you can find it HERE). They are great for raves or just for completing an outfit.
olive green and gray

knit cardigan
Next I got two of the same cardigan. I love huge oversized cardigans so when I saw these for $15 each I jumped at the chance to get them. I might have jumped a little bit to fast because I didn't realize they are wool and not cotton. It was a bit of a surprise but I've actually worn the gray one already and it wasn't too itchy. This is definitely a lesson on reading the description. They were originally priced $34.95 ( you can find it HERE).

faux leather biker jacket

Lastly I got this cute little biker jacket. I actually can't find it online anymore sorry! But it was $20 and originally priced at $49.95. It is perfect for the fall weather and it sits perfectly on the waist. I was so surprised to find it for only $20! I can't remember the last time I found such a good deal for a jacket like this!

OOTD and FOTD June 20th 2013

Hi Guys!

So yesterday I had one of my best friend's graduation. She is the last one of all my good friends to graduate high school and it's so weird! She is always been like our baby girl and now she is a graduate! Time flies by so fast, its crazy. Here is my outfit and make up for graduation.

My outfit:
Top: Blue Sky
Skirt: Forever 21
Wedges: TJ Maxx
All Jewelry: Francesca's

This Top was in a haul I did last month and I could not wait to wear it. However, it took my a while to find the perfect time to wear this beautiful lacy light blue top. I decided to pair it with my gray skirt from Forever 21 because I liked how the top looked on a gray bottom better than on a black bottom. The wedges were a gift from my mom when I went away to University last fall and they are just so cute and summery. For jewelry, Francesca's is the way to go. They always have great options and all of their jewelry is just so cute! I honestly don't think I've gotten jewelry from anywhere else in a long time.

On my Face:
Prime Time Foundation Primer by Bare Minerals
Wake Me Up Concealer in Classic Beige by Rimmel
Fit Me Foundation in 245 by Maybelline
Baked Bronzer Duo in Honey Heat by Sephora
Lasting Finish Soft Colour Blush in 120 Pink Rose by Rimmel
Stay Matte Pressed Powder by Rimmel
Eyebrow Kit in Medium by Elf
Beauty and the Box in Secret Garden by Tarte
Long Lasting Eyeshadow in Black Flame by Sephora
They're Real! by Benefit
BAD Gal Lashes by Benefit (lower lashes)
Eyelash Curler by Revlon
Lasting Finish Kate Moss in 17 by Rimmel

So rumor has it that Google Reader is going away so upset! But be sure to follow me on Bloglovin' to keep up with my posts!

New Obsession: Studded Bags

Hi guys!

Do you ever suddenly notice that you have been drawn to a specific brand, style, or color out of nowhere? Yeah, well that's me with studded bags! I was in Target today when I saw a very cute studded clutch and I was about to by it when I realized that I already have a studded purse and a studded clutch/ little bag. Then I remembered that I also ordered a black studded bag online the other day! It is slowly but surely becoming a new obsession of mine ( like lipsticks or Benefit products!) Because of this, I thought it would be a nice idea to share with you the two studded bags I already own.

Miztique clutch with a gold chain strap
Call It Spring shoulder bag

This is my Miztique clutch with a gold chain from TJ Maxx. It is a cognac/ brass color with gold studs on it. I got it for about twenty dollars which I thought was a total steal! I was looking for a little bag to bring to the city with me for my cousin's concert and when I saw it I knew it was perfect. The first thing that I really like about it is that it has the gold chain strap. I love clutches but I often get tired of carrying them around so being able to throw it over my shoulder is great! Also, I was able to fit a surprisingly large amount of things into! I fit a slim wallet, keys, a mini mascara, a lipstick, a blush, a mirror, mints and my ticket in here without any problem. Normally, my clutches are never big enough inside to hold all my things. Overall, for twenty dollar it was a great buy and I will definitely get my use out of it.

This is my Call It Spring shoulder bag from Call It Spring. It is white with gold studs on it and was thirty five dollars ( It was on sale originally forty eight). This bag is my new everyday bag. My Desigual bag ripped (got stuck on my safety break and the handle ripped when I grabbed it) and while it is getting fixed, I figured I could use a new bag for the summer since my Desigual bag is a lot more wintery. I am in love with this bag! My favorite thing is probably how many pockets it has and that all three on the outside work. I hate when purses have outside pockets that aren't really pockets just decorative zippers. I am huge on organizing and having so many pockets allows me to keep everything where I want it. Also the striped inside is really cute! It is a great bag for the summer and holds so many things.

What's are you currently obsessing over? What are your thoughts on studs?

Absolute Favorite Necklaces

Hi Guys!
Happy Memorial Day Weekend! Sorry it has been a few days since I blogged but I work as a lifeguard so all the pools opened up this weekend meaning I've been cleaning them and making sure they are ready and all that fun stuff ( just kidding it's really not fun at all).
Today I decided that I wanted to share with you with favorite three statement necklaces. I adore necklaces and I feel like they complete every outfit. I have so many that picking three was really hard but  I managed to do it. All my favorite ones happen to be from Francesca's. Francesca's has all the best jewelry!
Here they are:
1st:
This one is probably my all time favorite. Teal is my favorite color and when I saw this necklace I just had to get it. I love how the teal stones are set in gold. I think that color combination is just perfect. I love wearing it with nudes and whites. It is a great pop of color.

Here I am wearing it on New Years as a pop of color with a nude/gold top and black skirt.

2nd:

I love this one because I feel like it is so classy but with a little twist. I wear this necklace when I am wearing my pearl earrings. I think it is simple but really unique at the same time.

Here I am wearing it at University with a white tank, jeans and cute little Steve Madden boat shoes.

3rd:

I actually just got this one this month so I don't have any pictures of me actually wearing it but I am in love with it! I think it is the coolest piece of jewelry that I own. It kind of makes me think of the 20's and 50's. I'm really excited to actually wear and I'll be sure to do an outfit of the day for it!

What's your favorite type of jewelry? Do you own any statement necklaces?
