Hi Guys!

I can not believe that August and summer is already over! I start my fall semester so I've been so busy and I think that's so crazy and unbelievable. This last month I have had quite a few favorites. Some of them are new while others are ones I've been using for a while. I hope you enjoy! Also thank you so much for the 75 GFC followers, it means so much to me that people actually enjoy reading my blog!

First is the NARS Duo in Laguna and Orgasm. I have an entire post about it that you can read here. Laguna is a great contouring bronzer, I love using a setting brush and it looks so natural. Orgasm is a beautiful pinky peach color that gives a perfect glow to everyone. Next is Suave Max Hold Hairspray which I have been using for years. I adore it because it works amazing and is under $3! August has been a very humid month and this hairspray has been my savior. Third is TAZO green tea. I love all types of tea but I have been addicted to this one this month. It has a little bit of a mint taste to it which is so refreshing. I highly recommend it.
I have had a few eye make up favorites this month. First is my complete MAC quad. I did a post of it which you can read here. I love all the colors in it and I use them almost everyday. The colors I have Naked Lunch, Woodwinked, Coppering and Club. Naked Lunch and Woodwinked are perfect everyday natural colors. Next are the L'oreal Infallible eyeshadows. These are slowly becoming a new obsession of mine. I own three in Golden Emerald, Glistering Garnet, and Iced Latte. They are so pigmented and come in amazing colors. Lastly, my Diorshow Overcurl Mascara and oh boy is this mascara amazing. I did a whole post on it here. You don't need to use a lash curler because this mascara is so intense. It also has never smudged or ran on me. I love it!

What have you been loving this month?

Dior Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Mascara Review

Diorshow Iconic Overcurl: $28.50 at Sephora and Nordstrom

The Claim: “ a revolutionary mascara with a curved brush that offers spectacular volume and curling power. High precision ingredients provide intense definition and hold without clumping or smudging.” I don’t know about you but these seem like some pretty high claims to me and I was so excited to put it to the test.

Just like every other Dior mascara, the Diorshow Iconic Overcurl has a classy and elegant packaging. It is a silver tube with black lettering. It looks and feels luxuries. I would not expect anything less from a mascara that is $28.50 per tube.

This is not the first Dior mascara that I have tried. I actually own the original Diorshow mascara and the Diorshow Black Out mascara. I have to say Dior mascaras are some of my favorite just a little bit behind my Benefit’s They’re Real! The thing that really stands out about this mascara compared to other Dior mascaras is the curved wand. It has the absolute perfect amount of curve that fits perfectly from the roots to the tips of your lashes creating that perfect curl. The mascara is a little bit more on a wet side but I haven’t had any problems with smudging or clumping.I have it 090 which is the black shade and it is truly a dark black.

It is perfect for those nights that you want bold eyelashes but are not in the mood for false lashes. Two coats is all you need and then you can be right out the door! Overall, this mascara is great for volume, length and curling. You honestly don’t need to use an eyelash curler before this. The Diorshow Iconic Overcurl covers all the bases that a girl can have in a mascara and I would highly recommend this to anyone.

What mascara have you been loving?

Diorshow Iconic Overcurl

Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel

Hi Guys!
So this past weekend, I was in Boston visiting some family and it just so happened to be Massachusetts' Tax Free Weekend. To be honest, I didn't even know such a thing existed but hey, I sure was happy to find out. I decided to take advantage of this situation and buy some things I've had my eye on and some things I just needed. I stopped at the MAC store since there isn't one near me in Jersey and I took a stop at Sephora. I ended up throwing it all in the MAC bag just because it was easier to travel home with it. I hope you enjoy this little haul!

First, the things I got at MAC. I got another MAC eyeshadow in Club which is such an interesting color. It is hard to describe because depending on how the sun hits it, it looks different. I would have to stay its a grayish emerald color. I, then, decided it was time to get a palette since my MAC eyeshadow collection is slowly growing. I own three and bought Club so I thought a nice Quad would be perfect! I think I wanted to start small and maybe get a 15 shadow one online later one but for now, this one is perfect size for me. Next, I got an eyebrow pencil in Spiked because I ran out of my old one. The sales lady did my eyebrows with it in the store and oh my gosh they look so good! Lastly, I got my first MAC blush! I know crazy what beauty blogger doesn't own a MAC blush. I have also been loyal to NYX blushes but after I tried NARS Orgasm, I thought it was time to expand my blush world. I got Pinch Me which is a lovely warm tone rose color. I don't think the pan does it justice because it looks so pretty on!

Then, I took a trip into Sephora. I got got two things there but they are definitely going to get a lot of love from me. First I got the Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel to go with my new eyebrow pencil. I have curly hair and when my brows grow they tend to get out of control so I thought I'd give this a try in trying to keep them in place. I will definitely do a review on this! Next, I got the new Diorshow Iconic Overcurl. This is suppose to be time saving because you don't need to curl your lashes before using it. Besides Benefit, Dior is my second favorite mascara brand. I tried this on in the store and it looks amazing. I will do a Face of the Day with this mascara really soon.

I hope you guys liked my little haul! What have you bought lately?

Bad Gal Lash Mascara Review

Hi Guys!

So today I decided to review my new Bad Gal Lash Mascara by Benefit. Let me start of by saying I love Benefit products. I am always drawn to them because they come in the cutest boxes in such bright pretty colors. And let's be real, who doesn't love a pretty colored box?!
I was really apprehensive to try the Bad Gal Lash Mascara, just because I am in love with Benefit's They're Real! Mascara and I didn't want to either be very disappointed in the Bad Gal Lash or to love it more than my They're Real! one.
Because of that, I decided I wasn't willing to spend 22 dollars on a full tube so I bought the sample one for 10 dollars at Sephora. I love how Sephora sells sample sizes because I am one of those girls who likes trying the product out before buying a full thing of it.

It came in a cute little black and pink box thats says " A Little Bit" Bad Gal Lash, which I thought was really clever since it is a sample size!

The actual tube is a black base with a silver top with white and pink writing on it.

The wand is natural bristles. I prefer plastic bristles because I feel like they give me more length (aka They're Real!) and when it comes to eye lashes, I am all about length! However, I do use Dior Black Out which is bristles and I love my Black Out so I still had hope for Bad Gal.
I wore this Mascara a few times now; once to my All Time Low concert, to class one day, and out to lunch. I do like it but I don't love it.  I think it is more of a day time event kind of mascara. It gives me great volume but it doesn't lengthen as much as my They're Real! or Black Out. I would wear this to a lunch date or a class presentation but going out at night I'd prefer one of my other mascaras. Saying this, I don't really think I would ever spend 22 dollars on a day time mascara. It does look better than my drugstore mascara but I still think 22 dollars is a lot of money. I would rather buy another They're Real! or try a different Dior one with that money.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have tried it and what you think of it! Lots of love
