New Obsession: Studded Bags

Hi guys!

Do you ever suddenly notice that you have been drawn to a specific brand, style, or color out of nowhere? Yeah, well that's me with studded bags! I was in Target today when I saw a very cute studded clutch and I was about to by it when I realized that I already have a studded purse and a studded clutch/ little bag. Then I remembered that I also ordered a black studded bag online the other day! It is slowly but surely becoming a new obsession of mine ( like lipsticks or Benefit products!) Because of this, I thought it would be a nice idea to share with you the two studded bags I already own.

Miztique clutch with a gold chain strap
Call It Spring shoulder bag

This is my Miztique clutch with a gold chain from TJ Maxx. It is a cognac/ brass color with gold studs on it. I got it for about twenty dollars which I thought was a total steal! I was looking for a little bag to bring to the city with me for my cousin's concert and when I saw it I knew it was perfect. The first thing that I really like about it is that it has the gold chain strap. I love clutches but I often get tired of carrying them around so being able to throw it over my shoulder is great! Also, I was able to fit a surprisingly large amount of things into! I fit a slim wallet, keys, a mini mascara, a lipstick, a blush, a mirror, mints and my ticket in here without any problem. Normally, my clutches are never big enough inside to hold all my things. Overall, for twenty dollar it was a great buy and I will definitely get my use out of it.

This is my Call It Spring shoulder bag from Call It Spring. It is white with gold studs on it and was thirty five dollars ( It was on sale originally forty eight). This bag is my new everyday bag. My Desigual bag ripped (got stuck on my safety break and the handle ripped when I grabbed it) and while it is getting fixed, I figured I could use a new bag for the summer since my Desigual bag is a lot more wintery. I am in love with this bag! My favorite thing is probably how many pockets it has and that all three on the outside work. I hate when purses have outside pockets that aren't really pockets just decorative zippers. I am huge on organizing and having so many pockets allows me to keep everything where I want it. Also the striped inside is really cute! It is a great bag for the summer and holds so many things.

What's are you currently obsessing over? What are your thoughts on studs?

Best and Worst: Rimmel

Hi Guys!
As we all probably know by now, Rimmel is my favorite drugstore brand. Because of this, I thought I would do a post completely dedicated to them! I decided to do a "Best and Worst" because even though I love them, there still have been a few things I wasn't a huge fan of. Here we go!
Best:
Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation in 202 Nude
Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in Classic Beige
Rimmel Kate Moss Lipsticks
Rimmel ScandalEYES Waterproof Kohl Eyeliners in 006 Deep Blue and 002 Sparkling Black

Worst:
Rimmel BB Cream Beauty Balm in Medium
Rimmel Exaggerate Eyeliner in 270 Purple Shock

Reasons why I love Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation:
This foundation has a very nice natural satin finish to it which I love because I don't like looking shiny but I think too matte foundation make me look cakey. It has medium coverage but it is really easy to work with and build if you need more coverage. It lasts me a good 8 hours with a primer and a press powder without any touch ups. Only thing that bothers me is that the American bottle doesn't have a pump and I tend to spill to much out however the British one does have a pump. It makes no sense to me that one does a pump and the other doesn't!

Reasons why I love Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer:
This concealer looks amazing underneath the eyes! It honestly makes my circles disappear. Also It doesn't crease. Creasing is my biggest pet peeve when it comes to concealer and Wake Me Up has never creases on me! It has a nice consistency to it; it isn't too liquidity or too stiff.

Reasons why I love Rimmel Kate Moss Lipsticks:
I own two of these lovely lipsticks; one in the red tube in 109 (matte) and one in a black tube in 17. I adore the packaging of the Kate Moss lipsticks. I think the shape of the tubes make them look a lot more expensive than they really are and the red color of the matte tubes is beautiful. Both of these lipsticks are really easy to put on and last a good amount of time. The 109 is a nice light corally pink while the 17 is a lovely girly pinky shimmery tone. I wish the lipsticks had real names instead of numbers but I can deal with numbers!

Reason why I love Rimmel ScandalEYES Waterproof Kohl eyeliners:
I have these amazing eyeliners in deep blue and sparkling black. These eyeliners have a great easy to apply creamy formula to them. The pigment is amazing as well! There is no fighting with the pencil for color; it comes right of the pencil and straight to your eye. They last me a good 5 hours without any smudging or drying! I love using the deep blue for a little bit of a pop of color and the sparkles in the black aren't too overwhelming! Overall, they are great eyeliners and I really need to get more colors!

Reasons why I don't love Rimmel BB Cream Beauty Balm:
I actually did a full review on why this product disappointed me (Read it here). It felt so heavy! I actually thought I was applying like SPF 100 to my face. Also it felt sticky and made me look orange. It was one of those products that just did not click.

Reason why I don't love Rimmel Exaggerate Eyeliner:
my issue with this product isn't actually the product but the color I got. I have it in shocking purple and when you swatch it or look at it, it looks like an amazing bright purple. However, when I put it on, it looked lot more pink than purple. When I wore it in my waterline it actually made me look like i was either sick or had an eye irritation. It was not a good look.

What's your favorite/ least favorite Rimmel product?

Matthew Williamson and Benefit - The Rich Is Back!

Hi Guys!
Lets start this post off  by saying, Happy 15th Birthday Sephora! For this lovely occasion, Benefit and international fashion designer Matthew Williamson teamed up to create this lovely limited edition high fashion make up box for $34. Inspired by Matthew Williamson's bright, bold prints; this box is said to " flash you back to the glamorous days of disco."

What's included:
One 0.14-ounce tube of They’re Real Mascara
One 0.22-ounce tube of Lip Gloss in Inferno
One 0.07-ounce Gimme Fever Cheek Powder
Four 0.03-ounce Eyeshadows in Solid Gold, Get Down Brown, Disco Dust and Feel So Teal
One miniature cheek brush
One step-by-step tutorial booklet

I have to admit the first thing that drew me to this product is the box. It is absolutely beautiful! All the patterns on it are inspirations from Matthew Williamson's collections. The peacock ones really got me because I love peacock feathers. Benefit is my favorite high end brand and it is partly because of how pretty their boxes always are. If I am going to pay that much money; I want pretty boxes! However, my absolute favorite thing about this box is that I can take all the products out and use it as a cute jewelry box or to hold my eyeliners! I just love that even when the products are done, I get to keep this pretty box.

After I finished drooling over the box, I got a closer look at the products instead. I love the They're Real! Mascara, it is one of my all time favorite mascaras and the sample size is cute but lasts forever! My last sample size of it lasted me like two months with me using it almost everyday. I have never tried any of their lip glosses but this one in Inferno is a great red shimmery sheer color. The eye shadows come in Solid Gold, Get Down Brown, Disco Dust and Feel So Teal. I swatched the colors at Sephora and they are so pigmented! I was pleasantly surprised. The only product that I was a little bit disappointed with was the Gimme Fever cheek powder. I thought it looked a lot better on the swatch that it does on. It has a nice shimmer to it but not enough color.
Left to Right: Disco Dust, Solid Gold, Get Down Brown, Feel So Teal, Inferno and Gimme Fever
Have you guys gotten any of the limited edition products for Sephora's 15th birthday?

May Favorites

Hi Guys!!

Happy June! I can not believe that it is already June; I feel like May flew by. This month I have been loving a lot of things but I managed to pick out five. All the products this month happen to be drugstore  goodies. I didn't even realize that until now so here they are!

1.Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Conditioner
2. Organix Renewing Moroccan Oil Healing Dry Oil
3. Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer
4. Rimmel London Lasting Finish by Kate Moss Lipstick
5. Covergirl Outlast Glosstinis Nail Polish

Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Conditioner:
Target: $5.79

From the Bottle:
"A unique, precious blend of Moroccan argan oil which penetrates the hair shaft restoring shine and softness while strengthening and crafting soft, seductive, silly perfection."

A couple reasons why I bought this Conditioner. First it was 50 percent more but for the same price as the normal sized one. Secondly I really like the two Organix oil sprays I own. This conditioner does not joke when it says it restores shine and softness. Right after my first time using it, I can feel the difference in the softness. I really like teaming it up with my Lush Fair Trade Honey Shampoo and Organix Healing Spray. The combination of those three products makes my hair so healthy, shiny and amazing looking. I would recommend this to anyone who has dry or curly hair.

Organix Renewing Moroccan Oil Healing Dry Oil
Target: $5.74

From the Bottle:
"This exotic precious formula of Moroccan argan oil spray instantly infuses hair with a sheer veil of shine, giving color and highlights a multifaceted glow, while it mends split ends, and tames fly-a-way
frizzes."

As you can see this bottle is half empty. I have had it for about two months so far but I only really started using it regularly after I got my haircut at the end of April. After I shower and towel dry my hair, I spray some of this on my ends and a little bit on my hand and spread it out through out my hair. I avoid my roots because it made my hair look a little oily up there which I didn't like. However, it has helped my hair so much from splitting. I have curly hair and curly hair splits like no tomorrow but since I have started using this regularly, I have noticed a huge decrease in my split ends. Also It helps with the frizziness that comes with the humid Jersey weather.

Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer
Walmart: $3.97

It took me forever to find this concealer! Walmart was always sold out and Target and Cvs just didn't carry it which made no sense to me. Because of this I was so happy when I found it! I read so many great reviews about it and it lived up to the expectations. I love it for the bags underneath my eyes. I think it does a great job brightening up that area. I have it in Classic Biege. I could only find it in three shades which I thought was weird. They should have more options available but besides that I can not find anything I don't love about this concealer. It has become my "go to" concealer.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish by Kate Moss Lipstick
CVS: $4.99

I am a huge fan of Rimmel lipsticks especially the Kate Moss ones. I love the packaging; it is so sleek and chic. I think the packaging look a lot more high end than drugstore. This one happens to me in 17 (I wish they had real names but I don't mind too much that they don't) which is a beautiful bright pinky tone. It has a nice shimmery finish to it but it isn't overwhelmingly girly or too bright. It lasts me all day; I only really need to reapply it when I eat. I think it is just a very nice color for the summer and looks nice on tan skin.

Covergirl Outlast Glosstinis Nail Polish
CVS: $1.99

Read my full review on it here

I'll avoid going into too much detail about this since I did a NOTD about it. This nail polish just screams summer to me! It is on Bahama Mama which I think is such a cute nail for a nail polish. It is this really nice corally pink color with a bit of shimmer. It lasted me a lot longer than most of my other nail polish. I tend to pick them off once one chips and this one lasted me a few days!
What products have you been loving this month?! Also have you tried any of these?! Whatcha think of them!

Lots of love
