Review: Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer

It happened guys, I discovered the perfect contouring bronzer. Yes I am talking about the much loved Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer. I recently purchased the Ulta Summer Glam Set and this was one of the gems in it. I highly recommend this set! I received a deluxe sample size in medium/deep and I will definitely be getting the full size one after this one runs out. I think this has changed the whole way I look at contouring. Definitely going to be a staple make up item for me this summer.

Let's start off with the smell. It smells like hot chocolate. Yum I almost want to eat it! There is something about make up that smells like chocolate that makes me love it 100 times more. The packaging is also really nice for a sample. It is plastic with Too Faced carved into it in gold. It also has a good sized mirror in it. The formula of this bronzer is contouring perfection. It is a matte bronzer that looks absolutely amazing when the sun hits it. It goes on like butter and gives you amazingly sculpted cheeks in one swipe. I use this with my ELF Small Stippling Brush (review here) to contour my cheeks, my nose, my jawline and on my temples and oh my goodness my face looks so sculpted! It looks like I've been at the beach for the last week and the sun hit me perfect on my cheeks, jaw, and nose. I honestly don't think I can go back to any other bronzer for contouring ever again. However, I don't like it as much for a whole face glow. I feel like my NARS Laguna (review here) does a better job of giving a full face bronze effect.

Overall, I think this is one of the best bronzers I have ever tried. If you have an Ulta by you, I highly recommended picking up the Summer Glam Set with this amaizng bronzer in it!

Hello Everyone!

Happy June and I hope you all had a great May. For my favorites this month, I have 3 beauty favorites, a nail polish and a fashion favorite. For make up brushes, I have been loving the ELF Small Stippling Brush. I have a full blog post about it HERE. It is really versatile and a great size. Also it is so budget friendly! For lip products, I have really been loving the Revlon Color Burst Matte Balm in Mischievous Malicieuse. I love how matte it is without being drying. Also it is absolutely gorgeous. It is a matte pastel coral color. For face products, I have been loving the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. I've done quite a few prom make ups this month and I have used this on every single one of them. This stuff is amazing as making your make up last all day and night and honestly it keeps your face looks fresh all night long. For nail polishes, I have been loving the Butter London polish in Snog.  I got this in a summer set from Ulta which I highly advice you check out! The color is the perfect bright summer pink. This looks amazing with a tan and on your toes. Lastly, my fashion favorite this month is Midi Rings and just rings in general.  They are so fun to stack and layer and I think they had a nice edgy element to any outfit.

Review: E.L.F. Small Stipple Brush

I have found my new holy grail brush. I never thought I would find one I like as much as the Real Techniques Setting Brush but here I am with one I love equally. The ELF Small Stipple Brush has not left my make up bag since I got it a few weeks ago. I found it at TJ Maxx for $2.49 and honestly who can say no to that price?! It is an amazing multi purpose brush. I feel like ELF brushes are always either hits or misses. They are either really soft and work amazing or shed like crazy. The Small Stipple Brush is the best brush I have ever tried from ELF. It is super soft and does not shed at all. It is also very vertical because of its size. I have used it for contouring, highlighting, brush and for foundation. It is very dense so it is great for buffering products in. I think my favorite use for it is contouring. It fits perfectly into the hallows of my cheeks and on my temples. I highly recommend you guys check this brush out! It is definitely as good as some expensive high end ones but like an eighth the price.

Make Up Look: Sunset

Hello Everyone!  It is a typical boring Tuesday night and I wanted to play around with my make up a little bit. You all know how much I love the Sleek I Divine Storm Palette but I also own the Sleek I Divine Sunset Palette. I thought it would be fun to play with it and see what kind of look I can create with it. I also tried out my Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation for the first time and I am very impressed with it. The formula reminds a lot of the Tarte Amazonain Clay Foundation which I adore and it has a beautiful finish. Let me know what you think!

OOTD and FOTD June 20th 2013

So yesterday I had one of my best friend's graduation. She is the last one of all my good friends to graduate high school and it's so weird! She is always been like our baby girl and now she is a graduate! Time flies by so fast, its crazy. Here is my outfit and make up for graduation.

This Top was in a haul I did last month and I could not wait to wear it. However, it took my a while to find the perfect time to wear this beautiful lacy light blue top. I decided to pair it with my gray skirt from Forever 21 because I liked how the top looked on a gray bottom better than on a black bottom. The wedges were a gift from my mom when I went away to University last fall and they are just so cute and summery. For jewelry, Francesca's is the way to go. They always have great options and all of their jewelry is just so cute! I honestly don't think I've gotten jewelry from anywhere else in a long time.

Mini Elf Haul

Hi Guys!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! The weekend is never long enough. Yesterday, I stopped in Target to pick up a few things for my Mom. I can not go to Target without looking in the make up section! It is right in the front and I just can not help it. Normally I just browse and leave empty handed but yesterday something caught my attention. Target had a whole wall of Elf products! I really enjoy Elf eyeshadow palettes which I normally get from TJ Maxx so I was instantly interested. I started looking at the products when I noticed the prices. The top 3 rows were all only a dollar each!! My mouth dropped right opened and I knew I had to grab a few things. After standing there for about fifteen minutes I decided to go with two brushes, an eyebrow kit and a pretty pink blush. Here they are!
