Crazy about Lipstick

Hi Guys!
Today I've decided to a little tag that has been going around called "Crazy about Lipstick." I'm really excited about this because I am obsessed with lipsticks! Lipstick actually started my love for make up. I love all the different colors and how lipstick can complete a look! Here I go!

1) How many lipsticks do you own?
I just pulled out my lipstick drawer and counted that I own 22 lipsticks! I didn't count any glosses or lipliners or anything like that. I actually thought I had more than this so I'm pleasantly surprised!

2) What was your first lipstick?
My first high end lipstick was Smashbox Be Legendary Lipstick in Infrared. It is a beautiful matte red however it really dries out my lips.  I don't remember my first drugstore lipstick but if I had to guess it probably was one of my Rimmel ones!

3) What is your most worn lipstick?
Definitely my Rimmel Moisture Renew in Nude Delight. This is my "go to" every day make up. My most worn red lipstick is MAC's Russian Red. It is a perfect blue tone red that lasts forever.

4) What is your favorite brand of lipstick?
Rimmel. especially the Kate Moss line. I own at least 9 Rimmel lipsticks and 7 of them are definitely the Kate Moss line. I adore the smell of them. I know weird but they smell like cherry candy. Also the finish is awesome and they last forever.

5) What is your favorite finish?
I love matte finishes. I am not a huge fan of shiny lips so I prefer how matte lips look. Matte lips just remind so much of the 60s and pearls. I'm weird I know. I also really like MAC's amplified finish.

6) What is the last lip product you bought?
I think the last lip product I bought was a Blistex Chapstick. My lips have been so chapped lately. I think it is because of the weather changes. It works really well on my chapped lips!

7) How many lip products (everything) do you current have in your handbag?
I currently have three. I have an EOS and a baby lips. Also I tend to throw in whatever lipstick I am wearing that day and take it back out at the end of the night. Today, I wore Rimmel Kate Moss in 09 so that is in my bag too!

8) What lip products do you use to rock a red lip?
I always make sure that my lips are super moisturized! I hate when red lips start looking chappy. I think it can look cheap and no one wants that! I also try to use a liner to make it last long but I don't always do this because I tend to forget!

9) How do you store your lipsticks?
I have them laying down in a drawer in my make up shelf thingy. I have them in the same drawer as my mascaras and eyeliners. I have cute little dividers in between them that I got at TJ Maxx. TJ Maxx has great storage options!

10) What lip products are you currently lusting after?
I really really really want to get my hands on the new Mr. Rescue Baby Lips! They seems perfect for the colder winter months. Also the new Rihanna line from MAC looks amazing! I really need to get to a MAC counter and swatch the colors!

I hope you guys enjoyed this! I tag all of you do to this tag! It was actually really fun!

OOTD: Red Jacket and Studded Boots

Hi Guys,

Today, I thought I would do an outfit of the day post. I've been loving the colder weather! I brought out all my boots, scarfs and jackets. Layering is one of my favorite things and fall is my favorite season. I decided to bring out my red pleather jacket that I got at TJ Maxx for $30.00. I paired it up with a white patterned tank from H&M that I got for $5.00 and my skull scarf from Cottonon that I also got for $5.00. Next I am wearing my American Eagle dark blue jeans that were $29.95. Last but not last are my boots. I try to only buy one new pair of boots every fall and another one in the winter. If I didn't do this I would own like 80 pairs of boots. These are Madden Girl and I got them at Marshall's for $30.00. I love them are they are super comfortable.  Maybe I will do a boot collection post soon! I hope you enjoyed

Make Up For Ever HD Microfinish Powder Review

Hi guys!

I hope everyone has had a good week! Today I am going to review the Make Up For Ever HD Microfinish Powder. I know there is probably about million reviews on this product already but I couldn't help myself so I'm writing one anyways. I never would've tried this product if Sephora didn't place those cute little stand with all the mini products right by the check out. I honestly can't help myself when it comes to cute mini products! I saw the HD Powder and remembered reading good reviews on it so I figured I'd give it a try. I have 0.17 oz one which was $16.

My absolute favorite thing about this powder is how it feels on your skin. I know such a weird favorite thing but it honestly makes your skin feel baby smooth and almost pearly (can you face feel pearly? Well mine does!) It has a matte finish but it isn't the type of matte finish that looks cake. It allows your face to look natural. Sometimes I use it all over my face but most of the time I use it in my "T" area. I love for underneath the eyes because it makes sure that my concealer doesn't crease. It also does an amazing job control shine. You have to make sure you blend it in really well because if you don't it can make your skin appear a little white. I use it with Real Techniques Setting Brush and it works amazingly. I use this brush because this container sucks butt. It is too small to fit in a kabuki brush and the one time I tried to use a kabuki brush I got powder everywhere. The setting brush does a great job blending it in and it fits perfectly into the container.

Overall, I think this is a great high end powder. I have heard of people who have had this little container last up to two years so it is definitely worth the price tag!

NOTD: Paparazzi Don't Preach & Spit Fire

Hi Guys!

Today is one of those days that I get a random urge to paint my nails. I don't actually paint them all that often because I always end up picking or peeling it off. I have no idea but it's a weird habit I do when I'm bored at work or in class. Anyways, I am determined not to ruin these. The color I have on is called Paparazzi Don't Preach by Nicole OPI.  It was part of the Kardashian Kolors Collection for this past spring. It is a lovely light rosy peach color. It is almost like a nude but with peachy pink tones in it. It is one of my all time favorite quick and easy colors because I think it works for every season and is such a great color. On my middle and ring fingers, I have added a coat of glitter just for the heck of it. I use Pure Ice Spit Fire glitter polish. I like this glitter polish because it is cute and not overwhelming. I find a lot of glitters to be too much and this one is perfect.

What polish have you been loving?

September Favorites

L'oreal Smooth Intense Frizz Taming Serum

Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream

Rimmel Stay Matte Press Powder

020 Nude Beige

Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Eucalyptus Spearmint Lotion

Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel & MAC Spiked Eyebrow Pencil

Hi Guys!
I can't believe it is already September favorites time. Fall is one of my favorite seasons and October is one of my favorite months so I am so excited for this month. I love the fashion trends of boots, scarves and sweater. I love fall candles and the leaves changing colors. It is just such a pretty time of year. This month I haven't tried too many new things so my favorites are some of my all time favorites and a few new little things! I hope you enjoy!

L'oreal Smooth Intense Frizz Taming Serum: I tend to switch up my leave in serums and leave in conditioners a lot because I have curly hair and there are a lot of products out there. This month I have really loved this frizz taming serum. It is really good at controlling my ends which tend to poof up. I apply about a dime size to my towel dried hair. It smells really nice and isn't greasy at all! Overall, I recommend this to anyone who has frizzy hair.

Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream: For my face this month, I have really liked quick and easy looks because I am in school and for early morning classes I don't have too much time to do my make up. This BB Cream gives great coverage, feels light and with a press powder it lasts all day. Also It smells really lovely like the beach. I would definitely recommend this for girls in school who want coverage but nothing too heavy.

Rimmel Stay Matte Press Powder: From the picture, you can definitely tell that this product gets a lot of loving. This is my Holy Grail press powder. It works just as well or even better than any high end press powder I've ever used. I have it in the color 020 Nude Beige which I use basically year round. It does a great job of controlling shine and it makes my foundation last all day long.

Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Eucalyptus Spearmint Lotion: I bought this lotion on a whim. It says that it is suppose to relieve stress which I don't really think it does but I do think it smells amazing. It actually smells like a mini spa in a lotion. I love the spearmint in it because it just makes me feel really clean. It also moisturizes really well. I will definitely buy a full sized bottle next time I am in Bath and Body Works.

Anastasia Clear Gel and MAC Spiked Eyebrow Pencil: I've been loving bold eyebrows this past month. I just think bold brows and the fall season go together really well ( I'm weird I know). These have been my go to brow products this month. Spiked is the perfect color for my brows! It actually surprises me how perfectly it matches my eyebrows. The Anastasia clear gel is great for controlling my brows because when they grow, they tend to grow curly. Maybe I'll do a before and after post about my brows soon!

What have you been loving in September?
